-Today we are going to London and Minsk. We have a tour. That’s why there are 2 buses: these are habitants of Minsk and these are representatives of  London.

Our tour is great. Here you can see a map. Today we will visit two cities. The first group where are we going? Show it on the map. The second group what city will you represent? Show it on the map.

-We have a big tour, all of you will be guides.  Here you can see two tables one is for your group and another is for you. There are attributes that will help you to present your projects.  Groups come here and  take everything that you need.

-Now we start our tour. This is our bus. How do we call this red bus?

And I want to introduce our Guide Ivan. He will help you to get new information.  Our way is long, let’s have fun and sing our song “The wheel on the bus”!

Let's greet our friends from England.

Guide-Nick: Welcome to London. And our first sight is Buckingham Palace.

Pupils: Good afternoon! I am a symbol of the country. I travel around it, meet people, visit schools, hospitals. I want to tell you about my royal palace. My family and I live there. For me it is an office and home. Every day we have royal meetings and ceremonies. There are 775 rooms. There are a lot of guards around the palace. They wear red jackets and bearskins hats. Welcome to Buckingham Palace.

Guide-Ralph: Look left. It is…Tower of London.

Pupil: The Tower was a royal palace, royal zoo, and prison. Now it’s a museum. In the center of Tower of London is White Tower. Ravens are symbol of luck and power. Without ravens the Crown and England will fall. 

Guide: The next sight is…Houses of Parliament and Elisabeth tower.

Pupils: Ladies and gentlemen, I am Benjamin Hall, the head of the parliament. Parliament has power of the country. These are Houses of Parliament. Next to the Houses there is Elisabeth Tower. The tower is 96 meters high. And Big Ben is the famous bell.

Guide: Look right there is…Trafalgar Square.

Pupils: Welcome to Trafalgar Square. I am Admiral Nelson. In the center of the square is column. It’s 56 meters high. And there are 4 bronze lions around. It’s a symbol of my 4 victories.

Guide: The next sight is… London eye.

Pupils: London eye is a big wheel of London. It is 135 meters high. You have 30 minutes fun and you can see around 40 kilometers. The only way is up!

Guide: Thank you! It was very interesting.

-Oh, I can’t see some tourists from our bus! I think they lost. Let’s help them to find the way. You should match pictures to the names of the sights.

Guide: Welcome to Belarus. And we start our tour from the Railway Station.

-Do you like our Railway Station?

-Oh, yes, it’s like a glass palace. And what is there opposite the Railway Station?

-There are Gates of the City: 2 towers and the biggest clock.

-What is the name of Minsk’s old town?

-The Troitskoye Suburb. There are a lot of cafes, small shops, and museums.

-And  you can walk along Svisloch river.

Pupils:

-What is the most beautiful theatre in Minsk?

-Opera and Ballet theatre. There are unusual monuments.

-And great fountains around the theatre.

Pupils:

-It is Minsk’s Circus. I go there every week.

-You can have fun and meet clowns, lions, bears, monkeys, hippos, dogs, cats.

-And eat cotton candy or pop-corn.

-The central square with the Monument of victory…

-It is Pobeda Square. There is flame to the heroes of the war.

Pupils:

-Where do you like walking?

-In the Gorky Park. I like ride a bike, eat ice-cream.

- And I like ride on the ship.

-What is your favorite amusement?

-Big Wheel. And yours?

-Slides and seesaws.

Pupils:

-Do you like reading?

-Yes, and do you know where is all the books of the country?

-In the National Library.
